Kabaka Foundation Diaspora Board Members Visit Bulange, Mengo
On 13th January 2025, 10 board members of the Foundation’s Diaspora branches (Canada, Sweden, Denmark, the UK, and Ireland) visited the Foundation’s headquarters in Bulange, Mengo, for a meeting. The meeting focused on strengthening the Foundation’s work in health, education, and cultural heritage.
The meeting, led by Chief Executive Director Omuk. Eddie Kaggwa Ndagala, recognized the Foundation’s achievements in health, education, cultural heritage and community development initiatives. It focused on expanding vocational education and advancing agricultural initiatives under the Heifer-MOTT partnership. Omuk. Ndagala thanked the board members for their dedication, highlighting the importance of unity in driving progress and supporting communities.

Kabaka Foundation At The 2024 Renewal Energy Conference Week
The Kabaka Foundation today participated in the Renewal Energy Conference 2024 at Speke Resort Hotel – Munyonyo. The three-day conference, which commenced today, was officially opened by Honorable Dr. Canon Ruth Nankabirwa: the Energy minister.
The conference aims to promote the adoption of clean energy solutions to combat climate change. This aligns perfectly with the Kabaka Foundation’s mission to empower local farmers through the Distributable Renewable Energy Eco-Systems with Heifer International Uganda






Kabaka Foundation Launches the “Tubeere Balamu,” Community Health Campaign.
The Kabaka Foundation launched a new health campaign called Tubeere Balamu. Her Royal Highness Nnalinya Sarah Kagere officiated the launch event and also delivered the Kabaka’s message.
In attendance was the Speaker of the great Buganda Lukiiko (who represented the Katikkiro), Board members of the Kabaka Foundation, the CEO of Diamond Trust Bank, top religious leaders, key partners and stake holders. In the same meeting, the Foundation recognized all partners that participated in its previous health activity with certificates of appreciation.
The Kabaka, in his remarks said it’s crucial to bring healthcare closer to people’s homes, especially in rural areas, recognizing the challenges they face in accessing proper medical care. This campaign will start in Buddu on November 5-6, 2024, and later cover all 18 counties of Buganda
